All High School Homeschool Extension Students are required to attend weekly chapel for the '26 -'27 school year.
Enrollment Considerations for 2026-2027
Class enrollment will open in August on a first come, first serve basis according to the student’s enrollment date and class availability.
Homeschool Extension is offered for students in Grades 3-12.
Base Fees
Application Fee: $100
Enrollment Fee: $1,500.00
Enrollment includes:
- Chapel – Required attendance for all High School Students
- Eligibility for Standardized Testing (additional fee may apply)
Additional HSE Options
- Athletics: $500 per sport
- Musical/Drama: $250 per Semester Production
Highschool
- Full Credit Class: $2,334.00 per year
- Half Credit Class: $1,167.00 per year

HSE for Elementary School will only allow students to participate in the performing arts production
Full Time to HSE Status Change: Full Time to HSE Status Change: This type of change will be considered a student withdrawal and a
withdrawal penalty incurred. If payment is not made the records will not be released. See
Continuous Enrollment contract.
HSE to Full Time Status: Student’s will pay the full-time tuition charges. Tuition can be
prorated depending on when the student requests the status change
Enrollment for HSE status opens January 5th, 2026. Class enrollment will begin on July 27, 2026 for
high school HSE Students.

How much interaction with regular FBA students?
It is our sincere hope that the HSE students will quickly feel as though they are an integral part of our student body. There will be many opportunities for fellowship with each other and with Academy students. The level of interaction will increase as a student progresses into the upper grades. Please contact the Admissions Office to learn more.
What is the dress code for Extension students?
What are the discipline policies for Extension students?
The discipline policies are the same as for the full-time Academy students.
THE DISCIPLINE POLICIES ARE THE SAME AS FOR THE FULL-TIME ACADEMY STUDENTS.
Extension students are not permitted to participate in FBA graduation and are not graduates of FBA.
Can Extension students participate in athletics?
Students are eligible to participate, provided they fulfill all of the necessary prerequisites and qualify under FHSAA guidelines for participation as a home school student. Please click here to be connected to the FHSAA required documents. There is a separate fee for sports participation.
How will Extension families be kept in the know of activities?
How many classes can my student take per year?
Extension students are permitted to take 3.5 credit hours per year at FBA. Beyond 3.5 credit hours would be considered full-time, and a student would be required to be registered as a full-time student.
